Two juveniles were injured Wednesday afternoon in a utility task vehicle crash in rural Polk County. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received a cellphone crash detection alert at about 3:25 p.m. near the intersection of 230th Street Southwest and 370th Avenue Southwest, near Fisher. Deputies arrived to find a UTV on its roof with the juveniles outside the vehicle. According to the sheriff’s office the two were taken to a hospital for their injuries. Their conditions were not released. No further information is being released, and the crash remains under investigation.
