Twp Vehicle Crash With Injuries

One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 29 on Sunday afternoon, January 4. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at 12:25 p.m. when a 2008 Dodge Avenger traveling southbound on Highway 29 collided with a 2018 Ford Escape traveling eastbound on Highway 9 in the intersection. A 30-year-old Granite Falls man was driving the Dodge Avenger and was not injured in the crash. A 30-year-old Donnelly man was driving the Ford Escape with a 28-year-old Morris woman as a passenger. The driver was not injured, but the passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing seat belts, and the airbag deployed in their vehicle. The injured passenger was taken to CentraCare Benson.
