A 64-year-old Zimmerman man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Cass County. The man was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse southbound on Highway 84 at Lakeview Drive Northeast when the vehicle left the road, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The Traverse struck an electrical box and a wood post before entering a swamp. Andert was transported to medical facility with life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol said alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash. Seat belt use was unknown.
