Police Pursuit

Driver arrested after a pursuit in Otter Tail County. Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on July 6 at 10:49 p.m. on State Highway 78 for driving and equipment violations. The vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle was not pursued initially due to factors relevant to public safety. Law Enforcement located the vehicle traveling west on Highway 10 east of Perham when a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle was stopped on Highway 10 East of Detroit Lakes after a tire deflation device was deployed. 30-year-old Morgan Fincher of Ottertail was arrested without incident. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
