Two women were injured after two jet-skis collided on Pelican Lake north of Pelican Rapids Friday afternoon. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident around 4:32 p.m. on July 3. One driver, a 19-year-old from Minneapolis, reported a possible back injury. The other driver, a 20-year-old from Mound, Minnesota, reported head and facial injuries. Both were taken to Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspicion of alcohol or drug use by either driver. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Minnesota DNR and Ringdahl Ambulance.
