Homicide In Frazee

Two people remain in custody in connection with a homicide that left a 19-year-old man dead after a shooting at a Frazee home early Saturday, authorities said. 21 year old Arthur Campbell,  of New York Mills, is being held in the Becker County Jail, and a 16-year-old male is being held in juvenile detention, according to Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander. Both are awaiting formal charges. The victim was identified as 19 year old Bryson May, of Frazee. Glander said his department received a 911 call at 2:38 a.m. Saturday reporting a disturbance at 701 W. Ash Ave. in Frazee. While deputies were responding, dispatchers received another call reporting shots fired at the residence. When deputies arrived, they found May wounded. Life-saving measures were performed at the scene, and he was transported to Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Four suspects reportedly fled the home in a black SUV, according to the sheriff. The vehicle was located a short time later by an Otter Tail County deputy north of Perham, and four individuals believed to be connected to the incident were detained. Authorities said the incident is be isolated with no further perceived threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
