A Brainerd man died following a collision between the motorcycle he was on and a pickup truck on Tuesday afternoon in Crow Wing County. The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash happened just after 3 p.m. at County Road 13 on Highway 371 in Nisswa. The pickup was reportedly traveling southbound on Highway 371 after crossing northbound from Smiley Road when a motorcycle made contact with the vehicle from behind. 33-year-old Tyler Dokkebakken was driving the motorcycle and died from his injuries at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. The driver of the pickup, 42-year-old Michael Morgan of Nisswa, was not injured.
